The American Sports Camp was super. I got to play sports I never thought I’d play. It ended up being so fun. At the end of the camp, I was invited to join Youth Alpha. This is an amazing group of young people and leaders. made some new friends and learned about Christ’s love for me. During Alpha my faith and understanding in God increased. It was on the Holy Spirit weekend that I gave my life to Jesus.

I really enjoyed the American Sports Camp. It was such a fun break in the summer. It gave me the opportunity to meet together with friends, play new sports we had never played before, and also hear God's word. After the camp we were invited to Alpha. Alpha was a really nice relaxing environment to have discussions about Jesus. After Alpha I joined the youth group at Freedom Church. The camps really helped me grow in my relationship with Jesus and get to know God more. The leaders, snacks, games and people were great throughout and I loved all of it.

I loved the American Sports Camp because playing sports with my friends was so much fun and meeting, I loved meeting new people. The sessions were so good, and it really helped me hear other people perspectives and opinions on life and faith. It was nice to get to know the leaders too. It was great.

My time attending Alpha, the freedom Church youth group and the American Sports Camp have impacted my life. Through the enjoyment of sport and socialising with others I have strengthened my faith. I have met new friends and received guidance from the leaders. I now have a greater understanding of the Christian faith and how it can support me in my everyday life, through things such as prayer. I look forward to attending the group in future years.

I am happy that I have a chance to share my amazing experience from the American sports camp. I had the most fun time there. At first, I was nervous because the games were very new to me. With the encouragement from my coach and my teammates, I learnt the rules of the sports, how to work with my team and be disciplined. I learnt American football, Ultimate and BB5.
In addition, all the leaders are amazing. They are all friendly and kind. They make me feel right at home and my teammates became like my brothers and sisters. Besides enjoying the sports, I also learned more about Jesus and his words through the Team times and then the weekly youth group and youth alpha.
It was a great and valuable time from God. No doubt that American Sports camp is not only the best social activity but also full of Jesus’ love, and gave me a good chance to know more about God.

We ran a camp over the Easter week and the team were fantastic! As youth leaders, we felt the weight of the organisation and running of the camp was completely with James and the team, which freed us up to focus on the young people and engage with them to begin the relationship building.
The trio that joined us "mucked in" from day one, helping out during the Easter service as well as the Monday Fun day we ran. They were very enthusiastic and worked with us so flexibly. Even with relatively small numbers at the camp, they adjusted their framework and just made it happen anyway.
It was a lot of fun and the children heard testimonies of faith and there was time for bible sessions with the young people too. I love the ethos of the camp and the wonderful leaders that delivered it. Thank you Breakout!

The American Sports Camps have been great fun, both for the church family and for the young people who came. They offered a unique form of outreach, helping to launch our youth ministry. We grew from 15 in the first year to 49 in the second, with 22 continuing into Youth Alpha. Highly commended!

Breakout ministries, American Sports camp was incredibly helpful to us as a Church. The ASC facilitated a perfectly balanced sports focus complemented by testimony and biblical teaching in a relaxed, natural and engaged way. It helped to deepen our outreach work in the community and is a key part of our Church strategy in bridging the gap between outreach connections and the Church community
